Union Position:           Math Instructor/Consultant – Gogebic County

Salary & Benefits:      1/3 Time - Per Master Contract

Length of Contract:    185 Days per master Contract  (9:00 – 

                                     11:00 A.M.)

Preferred Qualifications:       

Valid MI teaching certificate

Highly qualified to teach secondary mathematics

Minimum 3 years successful teaching experience at the secondary level

Knowledge of academic integration within CTE programs

Knowledge of math GLCE and new HS graduation requirements

Ability to work with learners of all abilities

Skilled in communication, technology and organization

Overview of Duties:

1)      Work collaboratively with local school district curriculum teams, secondary and post-secondary instructors to design, develop and implement curriculum, instruction and assessment of academic content within CTE programs.

2)      Co-teach with CTE instructors

3)      Assist with student data and assessment related processes including academic and technical achievement related initiatives.

4)      Reports directly to the CTE Director

5)      Other duties as assigned
