Visual Imaging Technology (V.I.T.) is a cluster program that exposes students to the wide variety of fields available in producing visual images. From the creative conception to producing various forms of final output, the student is given the foundation skills in areas such as graphic design on the computer, illustration and media techniques, offset press and screen production, and business management skills pertaining to this industry. Broken into first and second year levels, a first year student is exposed to basic skills and techniques involved in all the various career options available in V.I.T. A second year student can then choose a focus area of graphic design, illustration, or printing, in which to fine-tune their abilities. There is a possibility of employment through work experience or co-op. Second-year students will choose Graphic Design, Illustration, or Printing as a focus area.
