This course provides students with an introduction to computer programming. Students learn current techniques in visual program design and programming methods. Students also learn basic programming algorithms, methods of testing, debugging, and documenting computer programs. Students learn how to plan and create their own interactive windows applications. Graphical User Interface design skills and Object-Oriented Programming concepts are emphasized throughout the course. The programming language used for instruction is Visual Basic 2008.
