Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)

Who are we?

We are parents of children with disabilities that give input on special education issues to the Intermediate School District (ISD). We help to develop a network of parents to assist other parents in understanding and participating in the special education process; including parent rights and responsibilities. The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is established through Michigan Law and is comprised of at least one parent representing each local school district within the Intermediate School District. Members of the committee are approved by the ISD school board of education with recommendations from the local district.

Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings are open for all parents to attend and are one of the best places to give suggestions to strengthen programs and services or get answers to questions you might have.
